Which is better for concealing blemishes: Advanced Concealer (clinique) or Mac's studio finish spf 35?
Neither. When you use a concealer all you are doing is covering up the problem. You should start by finding a good cleanser and toner that works for your skin type. Get rid of the problem instead of covering it. I know you will still get some blemishes and it is alright to use a concealer for the occasional cover-up. If you are going to buy one anyway go with the spf 35. You should start wrinkle care early that way you don't have to fight with them so hard when they really are an issue.

Mercedez, you'll need to change your diet (stay away from fried, foods); eat more fruit, veggies and nuts, drink lots and lots of water and take a good vitamin/mineral supplement. A quality product would be to your advantage to use - I like aularale.com/7002. The fade gel will work on the discoloration you have and the vitamin c serum will keep the zits away period. The skin care is awesome as it contains a masque that removes the dead, dry skin cells, stimulate blood flow (necessary for healing), close the pores and pull toxins to the surface for elimination; the foundation, you will find, matches your under tones thereby giving you a perfect match. With this line, you will see results in days, not weeks. Last, but not least, remember that what you put in will be in direct proportion to what you get out. Take care of yourself from within.

What gets rid of blemishes/scratched pimple marks fast?! thank you?
Usually I would use a product called Sisheido Pureness ';Blemish targeting gel'; and it costs around $39 AUS money.
Otherwise if you are extremely desperate use foundation and concealer (that's what I usually do)! What gets rid of blemishes/scratched pimple marks fast?! thank you?
I go to a dermatologist who gives me prescription acne treatments to put on my face, along with washing my face with antibacterial face wash such as Cetaphil. My skin has been clear for 3 years now. It's been great! Dermatologists are doctors who specialize in skin, so you can definitely trust them to help you! I highly suggest going to see one over any ';over the counter'; acne treatment. Good luck! What gets rid of blemishes/scratched pimple marks fast?! thank you?

I really want it to heal fast before the weekend because I have a party saturday night and my makeup just wont cover it

what are the best ways to help a blemish heal fast?I scratched a blemish in my sleep how can i minimise the sore before a party?
Ice lowers the swelling, but make sure you have an hour after you put on the ice so the redness from the cold will disappear!

Need to clear up blemishes today...?
I have two big and red blemishes on my face and I need to clear them up today (as much as possible) for tomorrow. Should I apply some make-up to them, even though I never had before?Need to clear up blemishes today...?
no! applying makeup will only clog the pores and make things worse. go to the drugstore and buy some quick remedy serum stuff... see my sources!Need to clear up blemishes today...?
I believe you can go to a dermatologist and get a cortisone shot right into it. Nothing will clear up a blemish right away, but it can happen overnight.
use alcohol on them or tea tree oil or even witch-hazel -- any of these will make them go down in no time. good luck.

What paint technique should I use on my ';blemished'; wall?
I just took wallpaper off my wall and am in the process of washing it. There are pieces of the drywall that have come off I think. There are these little brown spots here and there. Also the surface is not smooth. So my question is what paint technique should I use to mask this? I want a garden theme and was thinking the texture might look nice. If I wash the wall, then prime it, will that make my surface flat and smooth again? Maybe take a sponge and blot all over? Or paint it first then go back over blotting? Thanks everyone. What paint technique should I use on my ';blemished'; wall?
I've made the mistake of trying to use paint techniques to cover flaws in walls. It never turns out right. The flaws just end up looking worse and worse as time goes on...and especially when you repaint the next time.
If you want a nice wall again, wash the wall and let it dry. Then use a 3'; plaster blade and a container of vinyl spackle (unless you have real plaster walls...then use plaster spackle) and cover the holes and dings. Let it dry and sand it smooth with a fine grit sanding block. Then prime the wall and repaint it however you'd like. It's not hard to get them back in shape now...it's just really much harder if you paint it now and want to fix it later. What paint technique should I use on my ';blemished'; wall?
If your washing the drywall you need to STOP now you need to do is i would go to hardware store and get info on what you need. When you get to the hardware store ask them for some info sometimes they can show you samples of a wall treatment. Your going to go there anyway OK Oh just remember what you think your furniture will go with the tecnique.
You might consider using a paint roller and paint that leaves a rough textured look, this will cover over any small imperfections, however it is rough to touch and will take the skin off your elbows every time you rub against it lol
Correct, wash all the paste residue off your walls and let dry. Next prime the walls with a good primer like a Zinsser product named ';Sheildz'; this will also lock down any residue you didn't get off and let dry. Now with 100 grit sand paper lightly sand your walls, those little brown spots you talk about are the paper facing of the sheetrock and now that you've primed should sand up pretty good for you. Next use a broad knife or a 6'; wide putty knife and with using some joint compound go and lightly skim your spots, let dry and lightly sand and repeat this 2 more times. Once you've gotten them looking pretty good spot prime your compounded areas and your ready for paint. good luck and take your time, Les the Painter

I really like the Equate Daily Facials facewash cloths. Sure, it's offbrand, but it works really well. I can see the dirt that comes off my face and it makes my skin soft and smooth. And it's cheap!WOMEN...got skin secrets? Blemishes, big pores, scars, dark eye circles?
for blackheads if u scrub them with exfoliater on a washcloth so its like really scrubby lol then the dirt will come out %26amp; they wont be as dark %26amp; noticable or big anymore %26amp; might go away =]
If you have a really red pimple, put some eye drops on it, and it'll tone down the red.
mix honey , sugar, and a little water to make a paste to put on your face. the honey is a bacteria killing ingrediant, %26amp; the sigar exfoliates it naturally (:
Oh my gosh! Microdermabrasion cloths! I love them! I have seen such an amzing difference in my skin since I have been using them. You can even get them to use on your whole body. I got mine off of Ebay.

Would a slight blemish in the art of a book cover cause you to think the book was of poor quality?
I hired an illustrator for a book of horse stories, but the charcoal drawing of the horse on the cover isn't perfect in the chest and shoulder. It's not bad, but it is noticable. Would that blemish make you think the book was unprofessional?
How does the art in a book influence your purchase decisions?Would a slight blemish in the art of a book cover cause you to think the book was of poor quality?
I probably wouldn't notice it, honestly. Maybe you should show it around to people, and see if they notice it before you point it out?Would a slight blemish in the art of a book cover cause you to think the book was of poor quality?
I'm glad most people on here are saying it wouldn't bother them. I sell books on-line, so I look at all kinds of books. I have seen some that are rather unprofessional, and mistakes on the cover would make me nervous, especially if I was making the purchase as ';new.'; I know it may not make a difference to the story, but if I planned to re-sell it, it would detract from the price I could ask.
Is there any way to do any ';blending';? What about the book title? Surely there's some way. You say it is noticeable. Have you asked others about it, or is it just because you know what to look for? I don't want you to be discouraged. Heck, if it's a small print run and you re-do the cover, they'll end up collectibles!
Go with what you're comfortable with. If you're okay with it, make your move. If not, see what you can do. It's really exciting to hear you're about to publish. Congrats!
I don't pick books to read because of the cover art. And how bad are the flaws? And what type of book?
Well...someone else will say this I am sure but I tend to not judge a book by its cover. If your buyer is a real enthusiast he or she will open the book to see what is inside before they purchase it. However, if the cover bothers you that bad you might want to have someone else do the drawing or maybe have them do it over. If you are paying them to do it I don't see why you would be wrong in asking.
No. I've never had a book's artwork turn me away from it; I did once buy a book because the art was by Thomas Canty, who I love, and the book was horribly unreadable.
No, it wouldn't make me not want to by it. To me the front artwork is just an interpretation of the book mater. If you didn't have any control over the artwork there is nothing you can do but if you write another book I would want the right to see and approve the artwork first.
The cover artwork doesn't usually affect me, it is the titles that jump out at me. I always seem to be drawn to dark, mysterious, and magical books, strange................
No, not really. I think that it is the quality of the story and not the cover. Besides, I like cover pictures that make me sit there and think about it, and a slight blemish might make it more interesting to look at and give me more things to think about.
Unfortunately I do buy a book based on the cover at times.
Generally in a bookstore the cover %26amp; title entice me to pick up the book for the first look. Generally I am looking for what is on the cover more than how well the drawing is (ie: I like horses so a horse on the cover would encourage picking up of a book, a cover of a chicken and the book would not get picked up)
Then I do the ';Read random 80 words test'; Where I open the book somewhere in the middle and read until it becomes boring. If I do not feel like putting the book back down after this test I buy it!
I wonder about the overal quality of the illustration if something like the front of the horse is not perfect. Perhaps purchase some stock photography instead? Or cover up the blemish with the title?
No. Art can be anything. It is suppose to reflect the story, but I have found that it doesn't always.
dont judge a book by its cover!
your book may be excellent regardless of how much money you put into it...and if you are unsatisfied you did pay him after all so why dont you tell him to draw it again as it is unsatisfactory?
Really depends on your audience. A horse breeder or a teenaged girl who is infatuated with horses might say something but the general public isn't likely to moan.

Would scar vanishing cream work on acne and blemish scars?
You know like scar cream used to make scars blend in or whatever?Would scar vanishing cream work on acne and blemish scars?
No, the ads seem great but they don't work..Would scar vanishing cream work on acne and blemish scars?
I think it would work, but I highly advise against it. The things in these products are not noncomedogenic, meaning they may clog your pores. Im a model and I use the Proactiv Toner and it does a really good job of blending in those types of scars.
yes cocoa butter

Heeeeeeeeeeelp!!!!!!!!!!!i have a oily face with blemishes(mostly my nose) and i always+always+always wash my face.what do i use??Plz help me.!!Oily with blemishes on my face.what do i use?
try neutragena oil free foam cleanser, its in a pump containter thing and its orange. foam cleansers help with getting rid of oilsOily with blemishes on my face.what do i use?
since your face is oily use clean and clear's continuous acne control cream cleanser (purple and white tube bottle thing) twice a day.
use witch hazel as a toner at night, with a cotton ball, so it takes off any excess dirt that didnt come off before
try to exfoliate once a week with a honey/asprin mask. get 4 uncoated asprins and put a lil water on them and crush them so they turn into a paste, then add it to some honey and use that to exfoliate. leave it on for 15 minutes
you can also do a honey mask everyday for 15 minutes. its a natural antiseptic and it improves your skins appearance over time. (dont include the asprin)
Talk to a dermatologist. Online, you may be able to submit a question to a real one and get a reply. My friend was told to use anti-bacterial soap like Dial. It worked for her. She also uses a salicylic acid astringent at 2%. Seems to work for her. I use it, too. Always, always wash your face in the morning and at bedtime. Change and/or clean your pillow cases often or anything that touches your face. Keep styling products off of your skin and wash your hands after usage. When in the restroom, pat your face with some sort of blotting paper. It could be a clean sheet of the towels they have or something like Scott's regular toilet paper. It doesn't leave lint on your face. LOL.
OH MY GOD!!! i tryed this stuff called [ Milk of Magnesia ] and it gets rid of all your pimples, zits, and red blemishes!!!! *its in a blue container... and it is a saline laxative* what you do is you rub it on your face (DONT DRINK IT) keep it on for 5-10 minutes and then scrub it off... do this every night befor you go to bed and EVERYTHING will go away in a week *or two*
since its summer i start getting an oily face. i tried Clean %26amp; Clear Morning Burst face wash in the green bottle. it works so good! my face hasnt been shiny or oily since i started using it! ive tried everything and so far, this is the only thing that works for me.

How do you keep your face blemish free?
Any products you have used and that have really worked? I wash morning and night and tried a few creams but it seems I always have a few spots?!How do you keep your face blemish free?
Here, try using these great home remedies.
Using Lemon is the best thing to reduce the marks and blemishes on the skin. It can be applied directly on the skin.
You can also rub a lemon peel on the skin with a little sugar on it or without the sugar. After rubbing it leave it on the skin for at least 10 minutes. If you practice this regularly you can reduce the scars/marks finely.
Grate potatoes, wrap them in a cloth and take out the juice. Mix few drops of lemon juice and honey to it and apply it on your face. If you don't want to apply it all over the face then apply only on the marks. Wash off after 20 minutes. (Potato has bleaching agents, which reduces the blemishes.)
Make a mixture of tomato juice and lemon juice. You can fill it in a bottle and keep it in the refrigerator. You can apply this mixture on your face daily with a cotton ball.
Honey added in milk powder helps in reducing the blemishes.
If you have real dark blemishes on the skin make a powder of dry lemon peels and orange peels.
Drinking lots of water to keep the skin hydrate and detoxified.
Good Luck
=)How do you keep your face blemish free?

i tried Cleasil Daily Acne Treatment and it worked really really good for me. I don't know if it will work for you because of your skin type but I know it worked for me. I used to have really bad acne but now it's all gone. Oh, and I use Neutrogena Oil - Free Acne Wash for face wash. hope this helps!!
dr. bronner's tea tree castille soap. it's fantastic. if you can't find the tea tree variety, try the lavender.
you need towash your face every dry with a scrub that removes oil and pores
if that doesnt work you could try proactive or see a dermatoligist
you could try putting tomato on your face
try products that are labeled sebum reducer. it works for me.
Proactiv. It's expensive, but it is worth every penny, honestly!
Clean and Clear acne advantage, that works for me...
wash daily twice, dab with witch hazel and drink tons of water

Should I use the Revlon colorstay blemish concealer while using my Clean and Clear continuous Control Cleanser?
I am thinking of buying the Revlon colorstay blemish concealer, but it says :
When using this product using other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor; avoid contact with eyes
I dont want to increase irritation.
If i use the concealer, can I not use my cleanser, and vice versa?Should I use the Revlon colorstay blemish concealer while using my Clean and Clear continuous Control Cleanser?
Okay...if you look on practically any acne cleanser with good ingredients (such as benzoyl peroxide, or salicyd acid, etc) it ALWAYS says that...just use them both, and if any dry skin comes with em, use face lotion (somethin that's meant for the face, and has no oils, and doesn't clog ur pores) =) good luck
-Karly xoxoShould I use the Revlon colorstay blemish concealer while using my Clean and Clear continuous Control Cleanser?
I would be very very very careful mixing anything with clean and clear products! I made that mistake and the skin on my entire face had cracks (no lie) and it was red and i could barely move my mouth that it hurt so bad! I would not take my chances....
yea the medicine always says that.. its ok.. but if yu over use your medicine like i did..itll irritate your face on its own.. just b careful
When using this product using other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor; avoid contact with eyes

How do you get rid of blemish/beauty marks?
Hi! I have a lot of blemish from acne scars and a lot of beauty marks. Does anyone know how to get rid of them safely? Are there any home remedies or any thing I can buy at a drugstore. Please don't say proactiv or to see a dermatologist or that I have cancer. I was just wondering...if maybe there's some cream that can rid it or reduce the image of it? It's not a gift, it's taken away my self-confidence =( please help. How do you get rid of blemish/beauty marks?
you cpould use a non sheer, base make in you skin tone. that will help even out the color of your skin and cover blemishes.

How do you fix a blemish on an iPod screen?
There was a minor scratch on my screen, so I tried rubbing it with my finger. The next thing I knew it, a finger looking blemish appeared on the middle of the screen. I don't know whether or not the blemish is an external mark caused from stubborn human oil or internal mark caused from the rubs that pressed the screen to the display. I used toothpaste, water and soap, and alcohol to attempt to get the mark off, but it won't work...How do you fix a blemish on an iPod screen?

How to get rid of blemish and clogged pores?
I had a lot of problems with my face but it is much better now, I have found ways to work it (creams and stuff)
But my shoulders, chest and back are a problem
So I shower in the morning (I use an anti-acne bodywash)
I use natural, hypoallergic moisturizer to keep the skin from being flaky and all...
when I get back from school it is all greasy and there are blackheads and clogged pores...
WHAT DO I DO?
(scrubs and exfoliating soaps/gels don't help)How to get rid of blemish and clogged pores?
I would suggest talking to your doctor about it, if it really bothers you. They can prescribe a cream, or a pill that can help clear your acne problem up. And it's just matter of trying different products, otherwise, because nobody's skin reacts in the same to different acne products. How to get rid of blemish and clogged pores?

I always have a face with blemishes, how can you get rid of them, not forever, but so that i can look decent.?
can you use any home products like toothbrushes, I am 14 years old btw. :]I always have a face with blemishes, how can you get rid of them, not forever, but so that i can look decent.?
This is what I would do:
Mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpensive and it's very easy to do since there is only two ingredients.
Toothpaste is good for drying out your pimple (for some people). Put only a little bit before you go to sleep. Some people use this as a mask but DON鈥楾 EVER DO THIS! It can change your skin tone and make your face discolored.
Aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticeable (lemon, cocoa butter, witch hazel, and tea tree oil do the same thing). Use the gel (of the aloe plant) or the real thing.
Try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not too hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. Then, use cold water at the end to close you pores. The smaller your pores are, the less likely you're prone to pimples. Clearasil, Neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start if you want a cleanser. Don't use body soaps because they dry out your skin. Don't scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin.
An egg yoke can be used to make you pores smaller. I used this when I had pimples. Just take the egg yolk (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water.
Keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. Change you sheets because they're are trapped with dirt, oils, etc.
Zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. You can buy these almost about any large store (such as Wal-Mart or Shaws.) Have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water and don't pop you acne. Popping acne can lead to acne scars.
If you have sensitive skin, don't use make up. Some of the things in make up can clog your pores and cause pimples.I always have a face with blemishes, how can you get rid of them, not forever, but so that i can look decent.?
um i think proactive works for the longrun so i would look into that, um do not use a toothbrush it wont do anything but make ur face look red, um i would wash ur face after any activity and in the morning and at night bc blemishes are building up under ur skin for 2 weeks before u even see them... um then i would only pop them if necessary like if they r white- i know its gross but true- but only pop them with ur fingers not ur nails... oh and for the quick fix i would just use a light concealer and foundation.
if you want something form a drugstore buy clean and clear control cleanser with the clean and clear advantage oil-free moisturizer. if you have oily skin use both in the morning and at night. if you have combination or dry skin use only at night and apply the moisturizer in the morning. dont use bad makeup! for oily skin use powder. liquid foundation and oily skin just dont work well together. an awesome powder is physicians formula mineral loose powder. it soaks up unwanted oil and helps sensitive and acne prone skin. but the last thing you want to do is put loose powder on dry skin. dry skin needs to be hydrated throughout the day. use physicians formula mineral liquid makeup. it also helps sensitive and acne prone skin. another thing you can do with any kind of skin type is go with all natural cleansers. try zyporex, its all natural and just for acne. it gives you a really clean feeling. natural can be the best thing because it doesnt contain harsh chemicals that can irritate your face rather than help.

DOES PALMERS COCOA BUTTER CLEARS BLEMiSHES ON THE FACE?
PEOPLE SAY IT PUT IT ON YOUR LIPS TO MAKE THEM LIGHTER SO IF YOU PUT IT ON YOUR BLEMISHES WILL THEY GO AWAY????????????/DOES PALMERS COCOA BUTTER CLEARS BLEMiSHES ON THE FACE?
NO! That stuff is oily! Even if it says oil-free, they lie. After you wash your face with hot water, gentle scrub, and then rinse with col water, put on moisturisers that are specifically for your face. That cocoa butter will make it worse because it puts oil in your pimples, no matter what brand!DOES PALMERS COCOA BUTTER CLEARS BLEMiSHES ON THE FACE?
IT WOULD TAKE A LONG TIME,BUT IT WILL LIGHTEN UP A LITTLE, ITS GREAT FOR ELBOWS AND KNEES
I don't think so!! That's think, oily moisturizer.
Get a good cleanser, like from
Neutrogena.
it clogs your pores
doubt it honestly. its only lotion.
if it was that simple would people be paying for pro active and over the counter blemish pills??
not really- its better as a moisterizer.

Does listerine REALLY work on blemishes?
You should just use things that are meant for blemishes and get to the root of the problem. Find a system that treats blemishes both externally and internally to clear and prevent blemishes in the first place. Although it ends of being something we see on the outside, remember it starts from the inside. Why not treat blemishes both ways.
Good luck!Does listerine REALLY work on blemishes?

Can a tatto artist match your skin color and fill in blemishes on your scalp?
I would think no..
tattoos are affected by sunlight, and for that matter so would the skin surrounding it - so if you consider you scalp is most likely to receive sun and tan or redden your tattoo'd blemishes will not be able to keep pace, as skin colour changes..
makeup would be a better option IMOCan a tatto artist match your skin color and fill in blemishes on your scalp?

How do celebrities keep their skin so beautiful and blemish free?
Proactiv? I just purchased it and have been using it for about a month now. It definitely works but the send you the tinest bottles and by the time your supply is up you still got a week or so until you get your next round. it doesnt make sense that you cant buy it at a store! How do celebrities keep their skin so beautiful and blemish free?
Yeah the pics are retouched and they get facials all the time and probably expensive laser treatments to erase those zits. Its not the proactiv hun.How do celebrities keep their skin so beautiful and blemish free?
My friend works for a photographer, and she does all the photoshop stuff. She says she'll never again believe a photo printed anywhere cos of all they stuff they can change and erase. Thats the beauty of celebrities!
MAKE UP good lighting and airbrushing
make up and cameras are so advanced these days im sure that the camera must take some spots away
Celbrities are usually seen with make up on So thas why there faces look so nice .. Without the make up There like normal people faces google it ..celebs with no make up .. not so nice lol But If they have nice skin they also have lots of money to make it that way ..
when u see them in photos they r sooooo retouched. like look at how fake that is http://www.switched.com/2007/08/30/worst… they can get rid of a zit or create one
they have special treatment that is like very expenisive
like 800,000 for their treatment
lots of expensive makeup, treatments, and airbrushing! and on photos editing
the real ones drink a lot of water, and eat healthy and wash there face like regular people, plus they have good genes which is why they are celebrities in the first place. but some of them have to cover it up to make them look like they have perfect skin, like other people said they have crazy talented makeup artists etc.
PHOTOSHOP
Good makeup, plastic surgery in some cases. And to a large extent I would guess that a lot of celebrities were helped in their quest to become a celebrity by having such great skin to begin with.
It's the way she goes in that pretty girls stand a much better chance of making it big in all sorts of celebrity fields than ones who aren't so good looking.
A lot of the published fashion photos and such though are also doctored with a computer to edit out any imperfections.
oh yeah and one more thing, most celebrities don't have perfect skin. Jessica Simpson, Cameron Diez and a lot of others that I cannot remember have bad skin and acne.
They have professional makeup artists. Paris Hilton hereself visits a makeup artist before she goes out and it costs her about a grand for one visit.
they have really good makeup artists, and they have the money to spend on getting surgery and shots to make the blemishes dissappear.

How to get blemish free skin?
I am 23 years old, and the acne on my cheeks is red, my pores are huge, and my skin is dry in some area and oily in others. I have tried pro active, neutrogena ';stressed'; acne formula, clean and clear products, and nothing has worked. I am just not sure what to do anymore. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Serious answers please, thank youHow to get blemish free skin?
Try going natural. Find a good cold processed charcoal soap, and a natural fragrance free moisturizer, something like this:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?lis鈥?/a>
Using harsh chemicals on your skin can often have the reverse effect and make your skin worse. Sometimes simple is better.
Also, see a dermatologist if you have not already done so.How to get blemish free skin?
First of all, I understand what you are going through, my sis has had skin issues for years.
Don't worry so much about what product you use. Just try the usual cleanser , toner, moisturizer. Don't over wash your face. If you do. the cleansers take out to much oil. That makes your skin make more oil because it thinks it is drying out. try those clean, and clear oil blotting sheets for in the middle of the day oil control, Try to use a foaming cleanser, an alcohol free toner, And a SPF. 15 moisturizer for in the morning, OLA complete moisturizer is my favorite.
OH, you should try mineral cos medics, they allow your skin to breathe, your pores don't get clogged like with a classic liquid foundation. Which can help acne.
Dint worry about what brand you use, as long as it is mineral.
GOOD LUCK!!!
Try seeing a dermatologist. They'll
know exactly what to do and give
you special medication to treat your
acne.
I've had the same problem with my acne
but visited my dermatologist. Now
my face is clear and ance/blemish free.

Yes, Herbal Essences has always done what it's claimed for my hair %26amp; all of them smell fabulous ;]
As for the redness, any type of concealer would do the job. Try CoverGirl's TruBlend Concealer or MAC Concealer.
Does herbal essences shampoo really work? also, how do i cover up my blemishes? (remove redness)?
herbal essence is alright,
it's not great but it's not bad.
it's average, you get what you pay for.
but the scent DOES NOT last long at all, especially if you use hot tools.
i would suggest pantene.

Blemish spot on projected image, what is causing it?
I have a Sharp [model XG-NV1U] that work very well except for
a yellowish spot that is projected at bottom of the screen shot
in the middle section. It is only visible during dark scenes of a movie. I tried every where to get an answer on what is causing this and no one knows. Is it the bulb or something in the electronics? Thanks in advance.Blemish spot on projected image, what is causing it?
I would almost say it is something on the bulb or it is miss aligned just enough to cause light to reflect from somewhere and shine right at that spot. Since it is a notebook projector, things are alittle tight and if you move it from time to time things can move inside the unit too. But it really does sound like a reflection issue to me.

How quickly can a blemish appear?
Can a blemish show up within 7 hours of putting on makeup?
I have heard that if there is not immediate redness, irritation, or itchiness when you put on a new cosmetic product, that it is unlikely that the cosmetics causes the blemish. I've been told that blemishes lie beneath the skin for 2 weeks before they appear.
Is this true? How quickly can a blemish appear?
Pretty much!
Unfortunately more so if you have sensitive skin. Blemishes can even develop within hours and be on show,How quickly can a blemish appear?

What's a quick and healthy way to getting clear, blemish-free skin?
I've had acne for five years, and I'm sick and tired of being called pizza-face. I want the clear skin I had before, but I can't find anything that works! Any ideas that will get me results in a few days or a week? What's a quick and healthy way to getting clear, blemish-free skin?
i tried tons and tons of acne products over years of having major problems. i even went to a dermatologist and was prescribed medicine. none of it helped. I started using light make up and not scrubbing my face or putting any medications on it. I use Aveno face soap that is really gentle. All the harsh soaps and acids in the acne medications just stripped my face of all its natural oils and caused it to over produce, clogging pores. And the medications irritated my sensitive skin, my face was always red and burnt from the acids. but now i just wash it every day with coold water and my avenno Soap and i'm good to go :)What's a quick and healthy way to getting clear, blemish-free skin?
A common home remedy for blemishes is toothpaste. Use the paste variety, not gel and gently apply a small drop directly on top of the blemish. Let dry. This will draw the blemish out and leave you blemish free. If left on too long, the skin may become irritated. there are two major effective active ingredients to consider
Benzoyl peroxide
and salicylic acid

I have problems with acnes and blemishes.I heard about PROACTIVE SOLUTION.Does it really work wonders?!?
I am 21 years old and I have a lots of problems with acnes and blemishes. I've been fighting with it for 7 years and nothing really helped. I also have some acne-scars on my face. I'd just like to prevent blemishes, so they don't create more scars on my face. I heard about PROACTIVE SOLUTION on TV, I saw that lots of famous faces talked about it: P.Diddy, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Brooke Shields...Does it really work? I would like to get an answer from ';an ordinary human being'; who has used it.I have problems with acnes and blemishes.I heard about PROACTIVE SOLUTION.Does it really work wonders?!?
It works for most people, unless you are allergic to alcohol on your face, which I am. It basically consists of a cleanser (that feels kinda gritty), an astrigent (made of alcohol), and a cream (benzoyl peroxide or some type to prevent breakouts). If you are consistent, you could use other products that do the same effect (Nutragena, Mary Kay, etc...)
If you really want a permanent solution, there is a medication called Acutune that gets rid of scars. It is a concentrated Vitamin A compound. You must go to a dermotologist and it cost about $100 a month for 6 mo. treatment. You can't get pregnant with it though.
In any case, I would go to a dermotologist, because they may be able to give you free samples of meds. or products that may work for free.I have problems with acnes and blemishes.I heard about PROACTIVE SOLUTION.Does it really work wonders?!?
cannot predict now
My sister uses it sorta works for her, and one of my friend's sister it works GREAT for her. I think it depends on how bad it is and your skin (if it senstive, soft, hard, etc.)
proactiv does work. i use it and have noticed a considerable change. it helps clear current acne and prevent future breakouts. the improvesments occurred after a few weeks of consistent use. I've been using it for several years now. I'm 27. But, in addition to proactiv I also made changes to other parts of my life. i improved my morning/ nighttime hygiene, changed my diet considerably- no oily foods, no white bread, less red meat, all of which contribute to skin break outs.
i have used proactive and it has helped me. the hard thing is actually using every day. (i get lazy sometimes!) it has helped my acne and does prevent more acne. but i dont think it can do anything for your scars- u would need a different cream for that. i think u shud really try some. good luck!
Believe me it works!!! I thought it was a lie to but I thought what the heck it's not like it's gana give me more blemishes! try it really works I tell everyone to use it because it is amazing!!!! my skin was great in like 3weeks . It is a myricle!!! Use it!!!!!!! It works I swear it works!!! you will look great and feel great!!!!!!! So take my advice yes!!!!!!yes!yes yes yes yes!!
No it doesnt but the thing that does work Biore the warming blackhead remover, the ice cleanser, the toner, etc. you can buy it a any phamacy.
I haven't tried it..I have, however, seen comparison shopping programs that stated that it was no better than some over-the -counter stuff. So I don't really know...I am 57 and around 50 years old started to develop acne..who knows why...but after trying many products I found clearsil ultra pads , a little more expensive, but they really seem to work for me...tend to burn a bit when you use them...but I think it's a cheaper alternative to proactive..which I understand doesn't work all that well. Good Luck. Oh and BTW Clearasil Ultra is supposed to clear your face in 3 days.
It works, but it takes A LONG TIME to work. Like a month or two (not the two weeks they say it does). Yeah, it's pretty good, but it's expensive and it's a three-part process which is a little time-consuming. But if you have really bad acne, go for it.
I have used Nature's Cure Two-Part Acne System, and it has truly worked wonders. It's cheap and can be found in most drug store %26amp; even supermarkets. It's worth a try before shelling out money for ProActiv. It has pills to take, along with a cream for acne. Put the cream on sparingly, because it is very drying. Good luck.
It didn't really work for me. I used it for about a year, and kept getting breakouts, although the seemed to be farther in between than before. The problem was, I would still get them. I am not talking about the occasional zit ok? I mean those huge red hard ones that hurt, and then leave a gigantic scar in the side of your face. It also tended to dry my face out and then when I used their lotion, guess what? MOre breakouts. I finally just threw it all away, it costs a ton too. NOw I use this stuff from a company out of Californa called DHC. It works wonderfully. NOt too expensive either. Most of their stuff contains olive oil, and I know what your thinking, but its not greasy, honest. It really works, without overdrying. I use the cleansing oil, the face wash that comes in a yellow tube, I cant remember the name right now but it costs about $8.00, the ';pure soap';, the moisturizer that comes in a clear bottle and has two layers, you have to shake it up first. I also use the makeup, not the waterbased one, too thick, but the other one. It is real good, covers well but without that icky feeling of plaster on your face. And also the whitening concealer and the sunscreen. I love all their stuff really, I have tried a lot of their stuff but these are the things I use regularly. I have cleared up my acne finally. My skin looks and feels wonderfull, I won't ever use anything else. They have a web site if you want to look them up. They will even let you order samples to try for free before you order anything. When or if you decide to order, you will get 4 free samples with every order, so you can find out what works best for you. Hope this helps, not many people know about this company.
Yup... it works. I use it. Just give it time.
I've used some off brand I got at a drug store...it's worked pretty well. I can't remember the name but it's a three step treatment similar to Proactive.
Proactive does work in clearing your skin. I used it morning lunch and before bed time. A lot of the scars come off after a month or two but you have to be dedicated in using it and try not to skip a day because it won't work. Also find out what makes your acne come out more like me I can't eat a lot of chocolate or doritos(the pain!!). Also when ever you clean your face try to use the Renewing Cleanser and then put the Repairing Lotion on to keep your skin from getting dry and don't put a lot on to clean you face, you don't need a lot just enough that it covers or cleans your face. But try maintain the 3 times a day use of Proactive after a while you will notice the change in your skin. It does help clear your skin, it helped me, I'm might go back to use it again.

What's a good remedy for blemishes?
I tell my kids to wash their face with lemon juice or rub a fresh lemon on their face. It not only clears them but, it keeps them from coming back. Then use a good moisturizer after cause it can dry your face too. Good Luck! What's a good remedy for blemishes?

What works best for anti-blemishes out of these products?
- Neutrogena
-Clean %26amp; Clear
-Biore
-ClearasilWhat works best for anti-blemishes out of these products?
According to 3 dermatologists I've had (Miami, Chicago, and Denver when living in each), all are in favor of Neutrogena if you're buying at the store. I've always asked the same questions to them (and you get their answers w/o a bill! :) haha)
However, they've all said everyone has different skin so if you find one that works best for you, use it. However, be careful w/anti-blemish products as they really tend to dry your skin out and strip your skin of essential oils your skin needs anyway. What works best for anti-blemishes out of these products?
Honestly, it really depends on your skin. everyone reacts differently to different ingredients.
Neutrogena tends to have menthol in most of their products, which gives your face that tingly clean feeling, but can also irritate and overdry skin. Neutrogena and biore also typically use salicylic acid as their main pimple fighting ingredient.
Clean and clear has products with both benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid (i personally have found benzoyl peroxide to work better, but that's just me) and I believe the same goes for clearasil.
If you;re just looking for a topical cream, I really like persa gel 5 by clean and clear. it contains 5% benzoyl peroxide and gets rid of pimples super fast.
As much as it sucks, you really just need to try out different products to see what works best for you. Sites like Makeupalley.com have user reviews.. tons of reviews for every products, so you can read real peoples experiences. (their skin types are listed with their review, so you can skim through and see which worked best on what skin types)
good luck!

Spots/zits/blemishes around mouth?
I have red spots around my mouth, they're not really spots more like red blemishes as they're just red spots of skin. I've tried tea tree oil and lots of other things but nothing seems to work... I drink quite a lot of water but they keep appearing. Please help!Spots/zits/blemishes around mouth?

When you eat meals, try to be a little more careful. Don't lick your lips often either. The spots are probably caused by irritation and bacteria that will settle on your lips. Don't Worry! Just wash your face regularly and apply a natural lip balm or gloss and keep applying the oil. Just wait it out and it will be alright. If you are still not satisfied, visit your doctor.

How do you remove a skin blemish?
Hi, I once had a pimple, and i added toothpaste on it (never again shall i do that). Then I realized there was a burn on the pimple, so i removed the burn by using aloe vera. Now the skin started pealing and underneath the pealed skin looks like a skin blemish. The skin of where the blemish is, is completely smooth although there is a color difference which is unattractive. I was just wondering how would you remove a blemish in the fastest way possible. How do you remove a skin blemish?

Acne/Skin Blemishes/Breakouts, best cure?
I would like to know what you all think is the best way to get rid of skin blemishes. I don't have bad acne, but I have ';bumps'; and breakouts. So I was wondering what products or anything that REALLY work. Thank you!Acne/Skin Blemishes/Breakouts, best cure?
Stridex Daily Care Pads with 2 % Salycilic acid - I use one every night and I don't get bumps or breakouts or black heads anymore! They won't treat cystic acne (the big scary ones that are way underneath your skin- those are caused by internal issues) but it sounds like you don't have that bad of a case.
Another cheap fix - add 1/2 tablespoon of unfiltered, organic apple cider vinegar to a glass of drinking water, several times a day. It is a natural way to get beautiful skin.Acne/Skin Blemishes/Breakouts, best cure?
I have break outs too but i suggest proactive really.
Hey Saa Answered The Question just like i would.it's like the easyest and most affectiove wy.the only way that works on everybody's skin.
i went to a dermitoligist he did nothing for me i got proactive and it cleared it up like that that stuff works great trust me try it i had it bad and it worked better then the persciption stuff
My daughter uses Proactive. It Really does work but read this article on acne products first. We have tried a lot of things, even prescription medicine for her acne and found that Proactive works in combination with a good cleansing routine. It takes a couple of days for new breakouts to heal. Be gentle to your skin and don't touch it since that aggravates the breakouts.
From Library of Medicine:
Acne is a common skin disease that causes pimples. Pimples form when hair follicles under your skin clog up. Most pimples form on the face, neck, back, chest and shoulders. Anyone can get acne, but it is common in teenagers and young adults. It is not serious, but it can cause scars.
No one knows exactly what causes acne. Hormone changes, such as those during the teenage years and pregnancy, probably play a role. There are many myths about what causes acne. Chocolate and greasy foods are often blamed, but there is little evidence that foods have much effect on acne in most people. Another common myth is that dirty skin causes acne; however, blackheads and pimples are not caused by dirt. Stress doesn't cause acne, but stress can make it worse.
If you have acne
* Clean your skin gently
* Try not to touch your skin
* Avoid the sun
Treatments for acne include medicines and creams. Read the info below on all the sites and then decide whats right for you. What works for one may not work for you. But a good cleansing routine and healing medicine goes a long way. Also avoid using a cover up when possible since they clog pores.
Good Luck and don't be afraid to seek out a dermatologist if a regular routine does not work.

keep away from fatty n sugary foods. also change ur pillow case every 2 days.
Please do not buy Proactiv, Stridex or any of those other harsh products! Nine times out of ten they aggravate the problem. I am an esthetician and constantly have clients coming to me for help with their ';Proactiv skin';. What often happens is the skin gets dried out by products that are inappropriate for an individual's skin type and in turn the skin overproduces oil to compensate (which clogs the pores). You want your skin to be balanced, not just to dry up the acne. Since I cannot analyze your skin, I strongly suggest you visit a GOOD spa and talk to an esthetician.

I am a HUGE believer in the Arbonne International Clear Advantage line - wash, toner, and lotion. It also has a skin support vitamin that pushes the toxins out of your skin and helps it heal from the inside out. Arbonne's products are made out of botanicals and they also use salicylic acid. They also offer a 45 day money back guarantee.
wen u take a shower take some sugar and wash your face whit it
do not touch you face , do not let hair rub against you face
use Avenashort hair styles

How to get rid of a blemish?
I have had a blemish on my forehead for 2 weeks now. It is not a spot and it is not disappearing at all.
Please help! How to get rid of a blemish?
Need more information on this one. What does it look like? How big is it? What have you tried so far to get rid of it? At the moment, I am loathed to recommend anything, as I don't know whether it is the right thing for you in the current situation.
There is something effective I can recommend, but you first need to give more information..How to get rid of a blemish?
The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.
Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC diffrence in my blackeads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy!
I have had brown and red marks from past acne , scars and healing acne for over 10 years. I have been using the Obagi-C RX System (obagi.com). I have been using it for 3 weeks and notice a diffrence already. It is kind of expensive, but SO worth it. I have spent probably $1000 in the past buying over the counter and special ';potions'; to get rid of the marks and nothing has worked. This has been the best. It is a prescription only system, BUT you can buy them on E-Bay like I did (because you have to be licensed to sell it). It is cheaper that way. Just make sure the seller had good feedback and make sure the items are sealed! If you are serious about getting rid of the problem, this is it. Take it from someone who has struggled with it for 10 years. It is WORTH the money. Save up and get the items (there are 5 in all: cleanser (use am and pm), serum (am), exfoliating lotion(am), sunguard(am), night cream(pm)). SO worth it!
I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!
Hi i had the same problem as you but the spot was on my cheek lol erm i used the pre-make up base from skintreats.mfbiz.com and it cleared it within 2 days. It cleared my acne within a week too lol iots quite a big bottle aswell. XxNaTaLyAxXx
If it is an acne problem i reccommend the proactive solution. You can order it off the television. I use it. It cleared my skin up in about a week. It also keeps you from getting more blemishes to.
Hope I helped.
well if you watch t-v than you will see a ton of products that claim they work... but want you want is this stuff that is called ';salicylic acid'; that really works for blemishes. and for people with sensitive skin I would recommend ';advanced solutions'; from Neutrogena. it is a 2 step process that you do 2 times a day, like a proactive. but if you like to use just a face wash then just look for that acid stuff. But about anything that has that in it would reduce your blemishes. But I would go with ';advanced solutions, or proactive'; cause the process works faster than just washing your face.

Does any one know a good foundation thats smooth and looks flawless and covers blemishes?
one thats in the uk!Does any one know a good foundation thats smooth and looks flawless and covers blemishes?
i don't think any single foundation will look completely flawless.. but i've found that Dream Matte Mousse works wonderful! and there are many different shades, so u r bound to find one that works great for you! best of luck!Does any one know a good foundation thats smooth and looks flawless and covers blemishes?
I use Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place foundation.
I don't like to constantly touch-up my makeup throughout the day, this foundation stays on until the evening.
The mineral makeups are awesome, I started with bare escentuals, but I found a more inexpensive brand online called
Must Have Minerals. It is cheaper and works great, your skin will really look flawless
i would assume you have this in the uk. estee lauder double wear - it is really good, stays on a long time and covers alot.
its a little more expensive then your supermarket brands but worth it.
Loreal ';infinate wear';... don't know if you have it in the UK, though
Bare Escentuals i.d. Bare Minerals is a great line of makeup made from pure minerals that doesn't cause breakouts.
Bare Minerals SPF 15 foundation is wonderful...it covers effortlessly, and feels and looks like you're wearing no makeup at all!
You find it here: http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hier鈥?/a>
Hope this helps! :~)
I don't know if its in the uk but i know that u can go online to talk to a perscriptives expert to help u with your quest but i can't remember the web site but u can always try perscriptives.com
Bare Essentials. It is available online at Sephora.com if you do not have a store out there. It's great and I SWEAR by it.

Plz help....how can i remove blemishes from my face?
i have blemishes on my cheeks and nose.it looks really very bad.can any one tell me what should i do to remove them permanetly. plz helpPlz help....how can i remove blemishes from my face?
Well I don't know if they'll go away permanently but the best things to do are wash your face with a cleanser twice a day, maybe even a spot treatment since the blemishes aren't all over your face, and eat healthy/exercise. Best of Luck.Plz help....how can i remove blemishes from my face?
I use proactiv face wash and it really works for me! I love my skin most days and I even sometimes forget to put on makeup in the morning. One thing face wash cannot control is your picking, DON'T touch your pimples! Don't pick and they will go away faster and not leave scars. For covering up with makeup, use a primer after you wash your face, then add the concealer. The primer helps smooth your skin and decreases the oily look.
drink aloottt of water and in the mean time use a face scrub i use morning burst :D smells sooo qood. or maybe use the WAVE it works too :)

Can I use a blemish concealer under my eyes?
I use concealer that has salicic acid in it to cover blemishes (I get different brands, but it would be like Clean and Clear or Neutrogena skin clearing concealer.) I'm wondering if it's safe to use for under-eye circles too since it tends to dry out your skin. Can I use a blemish concealer under my eyes?
i have that too :]
i wouldnt put it under your eyes however, im almost positive there is a warning against that on the package. the skin under your eyes is much thinner and more sensitive and could irritate your eyes aswell. Can I use a blemish concealer under my eyes?
i use that exact same brand! i feared the same thing when i first bought it, but i wear it every day, and i have dry-ish skin. it hasnt done anything to me, but the results vary from person to person.
Don't use it under your eyes! It was not made to be used on an area like that, as under eye skin is much thinner and more sensitive than the rest of your face.
Use a concealer specifically made for under eye circles like Maybelline Age Rewind or Revlon Colorstay.
I also recommend that you apply a light eye cream before applying concealer/foundation.short hair styles

What men in relationship and in love thinks of the marks and blemishes on girls face?
pimplesWhat men in relationship and in love thinks of the marks and blemishes on girls face?
You know what, love really does conquer anything, if you attracted to her anyways and she has an amazing personality why should it matter if she has these? Don't be shallow like Jivan S, who said he wouldn't bother falling in love anyways, he didn't even take the time to get to know her for the fact she has a few marks on her face! What men in relationship and in love thinks of the marks and blemishes on girls face?
Are you talking about my wife's face? I don't care about anyone else's face. So I guess that's my answer: I don't care.
I think you should not worry about it. People focus on positive attributes anyways. I lived in Asheville NC for a year and there was this young women of maybe 20 who had this birth mark covering one side of her face who worked at a grocery store. I found her really attractive and in a wierd sort of way more so because of that birth mark on her face because you could tell she was self conscious about it if she caught you looking at her face. I wonder where she is these days? She was so cute.
True love runs deeper than marks and blemishes. Buy her Proavtiv to help her out, my skin is flawless because of it.
How to help her (without hurting her feelings) have these removed
I have acne and get break outs on my back. Its part of life, theres nothing you can do about it except take medication and wait for your hormones to level out.
No one is perfect.
My husband doesnt care, zits are so not even worth considering... lol. There are more important things, like whether or not you're a good person.
Love is truly blind.
It's not a big deal. My girl has a limp from breaking her leg when she was younger. I love her and I don't care or notice it anymore. So I imagine a guy that loves you won't care or notice either
If its not too much, then I really don't notice it and if we're really close already, I'll accompany her to go to the dermatologist.
If its too much, then I don't think I'll fall in love with the girl in the first place.

How to solve dry blemish blowouts?
When I get a nasty red blemish, it seems to dry out my skin a lot. Even when I apply a light moisturiser, green concealer to neutralise it and foundation, the dryness is really noticeable. Is there any way to conquer that flaky appearance until it goes away?
How to solve dry blemish blowouts?

Yes if he was a wise man. I don't like the pose , a t-shirt and natural pose is much better than trying-to -be -sexy-or mistery-guy.
About the spots - our skin has a lot to say, usually ';things'; we suffer from but do not let ourselves say ';no'; to them. It's worth considering that rather then only rely on chemical staff.
Origins - for me Middle East.
Good luck!
Proactive is very well at clearing up skin, as far as your origin im not sure, if YOU dont know, you should see a genealogist.
Yup. don't see why not. I love the photo.short hair styles

What should i use for blemishes?
im 23 years old and i still get acne, mostly on my cheeks. i have alot of blemishes on my cheeks left over from previous breakouts. can anyone recommend any treatment/products for my face. i have tried alot of over the counter stuff but nothing seems to work. i would prefer not to use salicyic acid and benozoyle peroxide products cause they dont work. also the products have to be safe to use while trying to get pregnantWhat should i use for blemishes?
seeing a dermatologist would be the best thing to do. They will have the best treatments that will take care of your skin and if you mention that you are trying to get pregnant they will know what kind is the safest as well. What should i use for blemishes?
Sulfur cream
hmm if u said u tried a lot of over the counter products then i think its time to see a dermatologist. if thats to expensive then keep searching for more products. also drinking a lot of water (8 glasses or more a day) helps with acne A LOT!
The red markings will fade with time, any 'pick mark' type scars will need some medial intervention to lessen the appearance.

Any overnight cures/ treatments for blemishes?
I have a few blemishes on my face that I desperately need to be cleared/ or reduced for tommorow. Any ideas?Any overnight cures/ treatments for blemishes?
yeaa go and buy clearasil it really works overnightAny overnight cures/ treatments for blemishes?
toothpaste works because of benzol peroxide, same thing found in Clearasil. So your safe either way. I usually warm a spoon to open the pore up, try to drain it. If it won't drain I use a swab of rubbing alcohol and then apply the back of a cold spoon to it. (put your spoon in the freezer) the cold spoon closes the pore and reduces redness...
i heard that toothpaste works... yes toothpaste! my brother used to use it.
toothpaste on the blemish will help
Toothpaste, it can dry up the pimple
put some toothpaste on it overnight.. it will help draw it out and reduce the redness. the grit in it is also great to scrub away dead skin, but not bother extremely sensitive skin.
Zinc vitamen
and Mary Kay Clarifying mask.

My cat has permanent marker ink on his nose. How can I remove the unsightly blemish?
While addressing a package for mailing with permanent marker,my cat touched the tip with his nose ,and now has an ugly blemish. How can I safely remove the stain? My cat has permanent marker ink on his nose. How can I remove the unsightly blemish?
Don't worry, wait for some days and have patience. It will disappear automatically. Keep cleaning your cat as you were doing earlier.

My cat has permanent marker ink on his nose. How can I remove the unsightly blemish?
You can't. Anything strong enough to remove the stain will burn his nose - a very sensitive part of the cat's anatomy. You'll just have to let it grow out - and it will, over time.
Have you tried cat cleaning wipes? They might work. You can get them at any large pet store.
I would leave it alone. Like people, cats skin replaces itself within a short period of time. It will go away. Or you could keep painting it with milk.
only time will correct, any thing 2 take it of could really injure the cat
I'm not a vet, but I would try a baby wipe since they have no alcohol. Cats are babies too.

Can applying toothpaste really get rid of a blemish, overnight?
?Can applying toothpaste really get rid of a blemish, overnight?
I'm not sure, but you could try watermelon juice. Watermelon juice clears the skin of all its blemishes leaving it fresh and lovely. Grate a watermelon, squeeze out the juice and apply it on your face for 15 minutes. Now wash it with hot water and then splash on cold water. Can applying toothpaste really get rid of a blemish, overnight?
My ex-girlfriend took three days to disappear.
I think the sunlight actually helped to be honest.
it did for me!
Yep
It sure can
I put some on a toad and it turned into a princess
Good luck
kind regards
what it actually does is dry out your pimple. i definitely would NOT recamend doing it too often because it really isn't good for your skin. there are much safer products out there to use, but yes, it does work if it is neccessary.
It never worked for me try tea tree oil or withchhazel you can get them cheap enough in any pharmacy
Well it's funny you should ask. I tried it last night for five minutes and the zits were noticeably smaller. So overnight...
Yeah my sister told me that when I was little. It takes all the oil out, I do it now.
Most toothpaste have chemicals in them which happen to dry up pimples.. But most of the time, it can only damage your pimple and clog your pores and create even more pimples.. so i suggest you go to a pharmacy and try to find a cream that drys up pimples
It dries it up faster
Crest works the best
I've done this and it only makes it more enflamed. Try a piece of potato peel. Taped on with a bandaid. It is an old folk remedy, but really works!
I found alcohol on a paper towel held on the pimple for about 10 minutes or more if you have the time and in a day or too it's gone.
this is a beauty myth that was disproved by the allure magazine editor a few weeks ago on Tyra Banks show. There are too many additional ingredients in toothpaste for whitening and tarter control to do anything. you are really after the salsylic acid that used to be in toothpaste. You are better off crushing up an aspirin making a paste with water and putting that on your blemish.
Never worked for me... Why don't u try it? Everybody is different.
Blistex
I don't think so?
if we apply toothpaste on silver utensils it removes blemishes. Not heard it happening on humans.short hair styles
