When I get a nasty red blemish, it seems to dry out my skin a lot. Even when I apply a light moisturiser, green concealer to neutralise it and foundation, the dryness is really noticeable. Is there any way to conquer that flaky appearance until it goes away?

i feel your pain..i get the same thing every now n then.
i havent come up with a solid answer yet but i think th only thing iv found that can help is a good scrub and moisturise before application.
