Fastest way to get rid of a blemish for a wedding I am in tomorrow?

Tomorrow I am a bridesmaid, yet I have a few blemishes and one new one that is brewing above my lip!! What would be the best treatment for tonight? Does toothpaste really work? Rubbing Alcohol?Fastest way to get rid of a blemish for a wedding I am in tomorrow?
I have heard the best way to clear up a blemish as quickly as any other remedy is going to do, is to use Witch Hazel. I used

it as a toner a few times and it your minimizes pores without drying your skin all out. Most 24 hour pharmacies and Super Wal-Mart Center carry this products.

The best makeup that is used on stage to cover up imperfect skin is called Dermablend. It is thick, has super coverage, and you apply it over your moisturizer with a damp sponge! I used to buy mine at Ulta Cosmetic Stores but other stores carry it. Plus you can buy Physicians' Formula Concealers in green, yellow, blue and skin tone. Each color does a separate

thing. Each package tells you whether it covers up redness, scars, dark circles, pimples whiteheads and blackheads, disguises puffiness under your eyes, and for the slight little imperfections, you can use the skin tone and the line is not really expensive. It's not the type like Bonne Bell, but more along the lines of what Almay would cost. You can find the majority of all of the many Physicians' Formula products at CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, and other larger stores. As for tonight, I think if you put rubbing alcohol on it, it might make it redder. Witch hazel or maybe a wet tea bag might help some.

I've heard of people using toothpaste and Preparation H to reduce swelling of new blemishes coming up, but when I asked our Family Physician and later on, I asked a Cosmetic Surgeon about these products, while I was removing some moles from my face, the Cosmetic Surgeon said 'NO! That is not good to use on blemishes and neither product was made for that use.' I am not sure whether you should give it a shot or not since I have had two different doctors that have answered that question for me with a very strong 'no!' You will have to be

the one that decides whether to give this a try or not.

If you mix the colors of the Physicians' Formula concealers that cover redness and scars and then you buy one of their mineralized face powders, it helps even out your skin tone a whole lot. And if you wear foundation, find a thicker one than you usually wear in order for your skin to look as flawless as possible and use a moisturizer made for your skin type right before you apply your foundation. Just make sure that all the products are all labeled hypoallergenic. And if you have some

Benzoyl Peroxide or Salicylic Acid (available in some over-the-counter products like Clearasil or Clean and Clear ~ tinted or untinted), it might help reduce that red blemish from coming up as badly or at least prolong it from getting really red and coming to a head until after the wedding. You will need to apply one of these products several times throughout the day before you get dressed for the wedding. Walgreens, CVS and Wal-Mart all carry these types of products. Hope I have been of some help to you!

I hope your friend has a wonderful wedding and that you have a great 2008! Best of luck to you! :-)Fastest way to get rid of a blemish for a wedding I am in tomorrow?
toothpaste. thats what I would do
I know this is gonna sound stupid mainly because it came from that movie big fat greek wedding but it really does work windex
what i use, and it works really well, is regular GOLD BOND BODY POWDER, just dab some on your hand and rub it on the area.

good luck!!
In pressing situations like that I always use salt (I know its weird but after u wash your face routinely...also take some salt and mix it with a lil water in your hands and gently scrub over the blemish(es))...bcuz the concept is that you need to dry the blemish out. Even if it doesn't completely make the bump go away...it really will significanly shrink it and make it much much less noticeable. Has worked every time I've done it. Oh, and it is a good idea to apply toothpaste afterwards and sleep with it on. Place a little torn piece of toilet paper over the toothpaste so that it won't get all over your pillow. Good luck!
yes toothpaste will work close-up the best
Try theses.
