Take Care and God Bless !I had a acne breakout, my problem is the blemishes (the red spots)?
I have no home remedy, just the advice to use Proactiv. Expensive, but I guarantee it works!
Have a look here.
Keep your face clean, use an exfoliate
Most people dont understand what acne really is, understanding it will help in formulating yoiur own treatment regimnent. ';Acne'; got its name from a bacteria called Propionibacterium acnes. This bacteria, (P. Acnes for short), is actually all over your body, and thrives on moist, humid enviornments and dead skin cells.

Around the time that peuberty starts, testosterone levels in the blood rise, this leads to an increase in Vitamin A. Vitamin A is a key factor for the production of ';sebum';, the skins protection to the outside world. Sebum is produced out of hair folicles (there are millions of hairs all over your body) and coats your skin with a very thin layer, which keeps your skin from drying out by trapping moisture, and protecting it from various other things. When your face is ';oily';, it actually is because there is so much sebum production. why do you only get acne on your face usually? because there is a concentration of sebum glands there.

Anyways, during puberty, the sebum production increases. every once in a while (or more so depending on the severity of your case) these sebum glands which are at the base of hair folicles (your pores), gets clogges with dead skin cells from your face which hast shedded off yet. this results in a wet and humid enviornment with dead skin cells, breeding ground for p. acnes.

The best way to stop acne is to keep your face clean, making sure the sebum dosent accumulate and have a chance to get clogged. also, dont pick at it, because the more irritation you cause, the more the p. acnes thrives, espically when using the back of your nails, which have a much higher concentration of p. acnes. most OTC medications use benzoyl peroxide which kills the p. acnes bacteria, studies show the optimal dosage for this is 2.5 percent, but be sure to apply it liberally to your face. another popular OTC medication will use salicylic acid, which washes away the dead skin cells from your pores. Citrus type juices (lemon juice for example) may work due to the low PH of the juice, which the acne can not survive in. Most other home remedies however are BS unless they somehow alter the chemical enviornment where the acne thrives. There are perscription medications you can get as well. trentinoids- are topical medications which block vitamin A, and reduce the sebum output, these are very effective. Also benzoyl peroxide in higher dosages. There are various pills that can be taken which are antibiotics which will stop the multiplication of p. acnes (bacteriostatic). if your acne is mild to severe, you might want to talk to your doctor about Accutane, which is an oral Vitamin A blocker which will take care of acne all over your body, not just your face, and is very effective (almost always, you will end up 100 percent clear while on it). Unfortunatley it has some bad side effects such as cracked skin and horrible chapped lips.

Hope this helps
use proactive no matta wat it works really good
I have one home remedy and one homeopathic treatment, its upto you what u choose.

firstly you should apply ice on your face when you come back home, it should be 2 times a day ( in summers only). you'll have to make a face pack of flour and curd. mix them well and apply on your face and wash when it dries up. just do it for a week and you'll notice the difference.

the next one is the homeopathic treatment that is the aquifolium tube (topical treatment). apply it on your face two times a day, one before stepping out in the sun, as it acts as a sun block and two at bed time (must). this is the time when any cream or face pack will have the maximum effect on our face because we are free from any kind of exposure (sun/dust etc) in the bed. do tell me it worked or not.
PROACTIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!
